Tim Long, Managing Director of Hawkridge Entertainment Services was named the Venue Management Association (Asia & Pacific) 2025 Allied Professional of the Year. The award was announce at the Venue Management Association (Asia and Pacific) Gala Dinner and Awards on the 24th of June, following the VMA Congress. Tim received the award from sponsor PBM Safety and VMA board member Heather Clarke.  Tim was nominated by Matthew Howe from Avision Advisory as well as supported by Craig McMaster from Parramatta Riverside Theatres and Patrick Buckle from Create NSW.

On the night, Tim thanked Milton OBrien CVE and Andrew Bobeldyk for their constant words of wisdom and advice, support and friendship.

Other winners on the evening included Houri Tapiki – receiving the Venue Professional of the Year and Emily Jones – receiving the the Young Achiever Professional of the Year.

Tim has had a long involvement with the Venue Management Association (Asia and Pacific) starting with the Venue Management School. He completed his Certified Venue Executive (CVE) accreditation in 2019, joining only 26 others in Australia and less than 450 people worldwide to have received the CVE designation.

Tim also completed a term on the VMA board and is currently a member of the International Association of Venue Managers Certification Board.
