Penrith Lakes Parkland

Penrith Lakes Parkland is a 1,940 hectare project, five times the size of Centennial Park, larger than the Sydney CBD and once completed, it will be the largest body of water in Sydney outside the Sydney Harbour. Set beside the banks of the Nepean River at the foot of the Blue Mountains, Penrith Lakes Parkland is a unique opportunity for the NSW Government and the people of Western Sydney to create one of the largest water-based recreational urban parklands in Australia, with new housing, lush parkland, wildlife sanctuaries and some 780 hectares of spectacular waterways, lakes and ponds.
