Cultural Infrastructure Planning for the City of Moreton Bay (QLD)

The City of Moreton Bay engaged Hawkridge Entertainment Services in conjunction with Networked Urban Solutions and AEC Group to facilitate cultural infrastructure planning that aligns with the region’s growth and aspirations. Our approach involved a thorough analysis of existing facilities, community needs, and future opportunities for cultural development. We conducted workshops and consultations with stakeholders to gather insights and build a framework for sustainable cultural initiatives. The resulting report aims to enhance the cultural landscape, encouraging community participation and fostering a sense of belonging among residents.

Campbelltown City Council: Enhancing the Campbelltown Arts Centre

More recently, our focus shifted to Campbelltown City Council, where we partnered with the Campbelltown Arts Centre (CAC). Recognised as a cornerstone of artistic and cultural life in the region, the CAC is planning an expansion that addresses both current challenges and future opportunities. Our team facilitated stakeholder meetings to gather diverse perspectives and ensure that the design reflects the aspirations of the facility and Council. By harnessing the collective insights, we aimed to position the CAC as a leading venue for contemporary art and cultural experiences in Western Sydney.

Northern Rivers Conservatorium: A Cultural Beacon in Lismore

In Lismore, our collaboration with the Northern Rivers Conservatorium exemplified our commitment to strengthening cultural infrastructure in regional areas. As the conservatorium plays a crucial role in nurturing local talent and promoting music education, our work focused on enhancing its facilities and resilience. In conjunction with Avision Advisory, we focused on identifying gaps in their emergency response framework. The team conducted a workshop to identify key areas for improvement. Following this, they completed a short report outlining the importance of defining all requirements and costs to make strategic decisions moving forward. The aim was for the Conservatorium to improve its resilience and streamline future recovery processes.

Expanding Horizons: Cultural Infrastructure Projects in Western Australia

Our reach extends beyond New South Wales and Queensland, with exciting projects in Western Australia. We worked with the Town of Cambridge at the Quarry Amphitheatre, helping to shape the venue’s cultural offerings and enhance its appeal as a premier outdoor performance space.

These projects underscore our commitment to delivering quality cultural infrastructure solutions across Australia.
